Located just 3 miles east of Park Rapids, Minnesota, Cedar Shores Lodge and Resort nestles along the unforgettable Long Lake. Named for its 9-mile length, Long Lake has depths of over 135 feet with great fishing structures including rock piles, clay banks and sand bars. Spring fed, it yields an all around variety of catches: Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Sunfish and Crappies. One of its major attributes is its connection to Mud Lake, just north, where thousands of Long Lake fish spawn. Long Lake is also maintained by a consistent stocking program. The water is clear, clean and invigorating making Scuba Diving an enjoyment with lots of places to investigate. If its just the sunshine and water you want to enjoy our sand beach is over 350 feet long!
For other activities in the area you’ll find main street in Park Rapids, renowned nation-wide for its center parking, offers a wide choice of cafes and shops. Throughout the city there are a variety of restaurants and fun times to be had including a bowling alley and a movie theater.
